Chetton Parish Council have been offered a defibrillator to be housed at the village hall and are looking for volunteers to be available to be alerted by the ambulance service should they feel that use of the defibrillator would be beneficial.
Training to use the device will be provided by Heartstart Bridgnorth – the course lasts 2 hours and consists of CPR and use of the Defibrillator with a certificate posted at the end of the course. There is no limit on the number of people attending and although not everyone will want to volunteer to be a ‘responder’ the information on CPR could prove to be invaluable in an emergency situation.
Please let the clerk know if you, or any of your neighbours or friends, are interested in attending. The training evening will probably take place in early March.
